The Citizenship Class meets every Monday from 5pm to 7pm at the Main Library.
Meets in the Community Classroom. This weekly Class is for NJ residents who are lawful, permanent residents (Green Card holders) who are applying for citizenship. This class will teach the specific material required to pass the USCIS Citizenship test. The instructor speaks Spanish and English. Presented in partnership with Jewish Family Services.

Class Description:
Join our free Basic English class, designed for adult learners who are new to English. Students will build skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Classes will focus on everyday vocabulary, simple grammar, and practical conversation to help learners communicate confidently in daily life. Class will meet twice a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Registration is required and limited to 12 participants.

This is an advanced ESL class focusing on conversations, simple readings, and writing activities in English. Students will practice their skills, connect with other community members, and further explore their identity as Long Branch/Monmouth County residents. This class has ongoing registration; new students are always welcome.
