The Temporary Library is now closed as we begin the move back to our Main Library. Our Elberon Branch Library remains open. The Main Library will reopen with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4pm on February 20th. We thank you for your patience during this process and hope to see you at the ribbon cutting!

The Friends of the Long Branch Free Public Library is dedicated to supporting and improving the library. Through an annual membership drive and other fundraising initiatives, the Friends enable the purchase of resources that fall outside the scope of the library’s operating budget including but not limited to the library’s museum pass loan program, special programs, author talks, history tours, teen supplies, special events and more!  The Friends of the Long Branch Free Public Library supports the Library through fundraising, volunteering, and promoting the library!

For just $10.00 (returning members) or $15 (new members) per year, you can become a Friend of the Library (monthly meeting attendance is optional and not required).

The Friends of the Long Branch Free Public Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit run by volunteers.

After expenses, 100% of the money raised by the Friends goes back into the library to help finance materials, services, programs, and improvements that are not covered in the regular library budget.
